RO.ME MUSEUM EXHIBITION 2020

In Research and Development, ATEN IS and Sigma have worked to answer to a global market that needs to be more connected and optimized. SIGMA presents 2 projects for Cultural Heritage and Tourism: LODINET and ICANP.

• ICANP – Integrated Cultural Analysis Neural Platform (for “Company makes Culture”): The project consists in the creation of an integrated platform (and app) able to offer a series of services for the USE and ENHANCEMENT of the LOCAL CULTURAL HERITAGE OF MUSEUMS and ARCHAEOLOGICAL AREAS and specific points of interest, as well as for the promotion of events using innovative technologies. Based also on augmented reality technology, the platform acts as a dynamic tool that allows a pervasive vision of cultural heritage aimed both at the INTERCONNECTION between users and contents, their DIGITIZATION, classification, and TOURISTIC PROMOTION.
• Local digital network (Lo.Di.Net) – Excellence in Digital (for “Cultural Heritage and Tourism”): The project studies and experiments an INNOVATIVE MODEL OF TERRITORIAL DEVELOPMENT, aimed at the enhancement of local cultural, productive, food and wine, artistic and landscape resources. The project also involves the jointed elaboration of dynamic and diversified “travel routes“, proposed within the ICT platform, in order to intensify the experience of the visit, through virtual reality, interactive maps, sharing practices, etc.: all this allows tourists to orient themselves between cultural resources and tourist accommodation proposals, for a best preparation of the travel planning.

These solutions developed with the integration of ICT and IoT technologies are experimented in specific areas of Lazio region (Castelli Romani, Monti Prenestini, Viterbo) to further be applied and customized for other museums and sites.
