Brief description of the project:
The project studies and experiments an INNOVATIVE MODEL OF TERRITORIAL DEVELOPMENT, aimed at the enhancement of local cultural, productive, food and wine, artistic and landscape resources. The project also involves the jointed elaboration of dynamic and diversified “travel routes“, proposed within the ICT platform, in order to intensify the experience of the visit, through virtual reality, interactive maps, sharing practices, etc.: all this allows tourists to orient themselves between cultural resources and tourist accommodation proposals, for a best preparation of the travel planning.
In particular, as a first experimental phase, the territories considered as the object of the intervention fall within the Lazio region and are:
- The areas of the Castelli Romani
- The areas of the Prenestini Mountains
- The Viterbo area
The project aims to be replicated in other regional contexts, in order to encourage the development of the hospitality, cultural and creative sectors (and the economic activities strongly connected to them), enhancing the protection and enhancement of the identity of the places and the traditions of the territories.
